 Main Job Ojective:

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that participants in WOSTEP programs and courses throughout the world achieve the required skills and competencies. This objective is to be fulfilled under the following functions :

·     Taking the lead in the formulation and development of training projects, course material and technical documents

·     Being examination coordinator and assessor within the WOSTEP Worldwide Partnership school network

·     Teaching courses and modules on the campus at WOSTEP Neuchâtel according to need

 Main Duties and Responsibilities:

·     Development and management of technical documents and course material (40%)

-      Identification and anticipation of training needs

-      Ensuring quality and availability of course material

-      Development of new course material according to need

·     Assessment of examinations in WOSTEP Neuchâtel (CH) and at Worldwide Partnership schools (30%)

-      1 week to 10-day trips to Partnership school locations, 6 to 8 times a year

-      Examination preparation, attendance and assessment

-      Audits and advisory support for Partnership Instructors

-      Results and final report 

·     Project management (20%)

·     Training and Education (10%)

-      Course preparation, including verification of existing equipment, organisation of tools, components, course material and documents

-      Evaluation of participants and provision of effective feedback so as to enable WOSTEP to optimize and expand its curriculum  

-      Teaching short term courses (3-10 weeks) and/or longer program modules (12-20 weeks) as required


·       4-year watchmaking CFC, or WOSTEP 3000-hour certificate, or equivalent watchmaking education and diploma

·       Education in content management, digitalisation, and learning management systems

·       Further training and education an asset (postgraduate degree, adult teaching diploma, examination expert certificate)


·     Proven experience ( > 2 years) in content management and issuing technical reports and documents

·     Proven experience ( > 3 years) in a Customer Service environment

·     Confirmed experience as a technical trainer or technical advisor an asset

Further assets, experience in: 

·     Evaluating technical personnel on an international level

·     Preparing and conducting audits

·     Project leadership

 Key Competencies:

·       Native level English (min. IELTS level 5.0-6.0 or CEFR level B2 / C1)

·       Business level French (min. CEFR level B1/B2)

·       Business level German (min. CEFR level B1/B2)

·       Excellent communication and pedagogical skills

·       Analytical skills

·       Systematic, methodical approach

·       Advanced proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint

·       Enhanced IT skills in content management and project management tools and CAD

·       Small team in a Swiss and International environment

·       Watchmaking training and education centre based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, with over 10 Partnership schools worldwide

·       Working in close collaboration with the Swiss watch industry

·       Fully-equipped classrooms and workshops, small student-to-teacher ratio

·       Reporting to the Director
