WOSTEP opens in Neuchâtel with a 1-year course for watchmakers from the USA. Director: André Farine.
1970
The Refresher Course is opened to watchmakers from all over the world.
1976
Antoine Simonin takes over after the death of André Farine.
1977
The Refresher Course is now a 20-week session, twice a year.
1984
First session of the Course on complicated watches.
1985
WOSTEP enlarges its premises.
1986
WOSTEP becomes a non-profit association with 27 members.
President: Roland Frêne.
1989
Introduction of a new selection of training sessions in Neuchâtel and around the world.
1990
Introduction of lectures on watchmaking.
