Customer Service Polishing Technician
Aim of the course
On completing the course, participants will be able to recondition, assemble and disassemble watchcase and bracelet components made of various base metals, according to their technical and aesthetical characteristics.
Program (may be modified at any time):
- Fundamentals of micromechanics
- Getting acquainted with the watchcase, bracelet, dial and hands
- Electronic and mechanical watches
- Professional knowledge
- Getting acquainted with polishing machines, accessories and consumables
- Theoretical and practical exercises on the various kinds of polishing preparation and finishing techniques

The WOSTEP Foundation has designed a specially equipped, light and spacious workshop with state-of-the-art machines providing optimal conditions for the acquisition of high-quality know-how.
Participants (max. 6):
This course is open to all those who wish to train and acquire the various skills and techniques connected with external watch part polishing.
No previous experience in this field is required.

Timetable:
8:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 17:00
Bench test (2 days):
In order to test the aptitude of each candidate and make sure the course is right for them, a bench test will be organized over two days. The test is mendatory. No previous experience in polishing is required.
Date and timetable of the test: to be determined after registration with our administration
Certificate:
In order to obtain the WOSTEP certificate, participants must fulfill the WOSTEP conditions and pass both the intermediate and final examination.

CHF 8'300.- per person (accomodation and meals not included)

If you cancel your participation less than 30 days before the beginning of the course, the fees will not be reimbursed.
