Aim of the course:
To gain practice and knowledge with precision timing and to understand its intricacies. Participants will also learn to make all adjustments on a Swiss lever escapement and understand the effects of these adjustments on timing.

Participants must have followed a watchmaking school and have a complementary experience in watch reparing. Watchmakers with no such basic training must have a minimum of 3 years full-time experience in watchmaking.
It is important that the participants are competent to deal with all aspects of a simple mechanical watch, such as repairs of the gear train including barrel and jewels, the winding and setting mechanism.
